Day 1:- Arrive Guwahati / Transfer to Shillong. En route Visit Umiam Lake. (100 KMS / 03 HRS.)

Arrive Guwahati Airport and transfer to Shillong, (4,900 Ft.), Called ‘Scotland Of the East”.

Enroute Visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. You may do the water sports here.(Optional).

On arrival check into the hotel. Evening free for shopping at Police Bazaar which the biggest local market.

Day 2:- Excursion To Laitlum Canyons & Krang Suri Falls. (90 KMS / 02 HRS. ONE WAY)

After Breakfast proceed to Laitlum Canyons for some breathtaking views. The view of the Canyon will strongly remind you of the Scottish Highlands at their best.

Later visit Krang Suri Falls. It is one of the best waterfalls in Meghalaya. You can also swim in a naturally formed pool here. You can also go behind the waterfall and see the water falling in front of you.

Evening Return to Shillong,

Day 3:- Excursion To Mawsynram & Mawphlang Sacred Forest. (60 KMS / 02 HRS. ONE WAY)

Today After Breakfast visit Mawsynram which as per the new geological reports receives the highest rainfall in the world. The area is known for its many caves.

Later visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove. It is one of the biggest Sacred Groves in Meghalaya. It is a well preserved forest by local community. Nothing can be taken out from the forest as this is being protected by the local deities.

Evening return to Shillong. Enroute Visit Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak for some breathtaking views.

Day 4:- Depart Shillong / Transfer to Cherrapunji. En route Mawlynnong Village & Dawki. (90 KMS / 02 HRS. ONE WAY)

After an early breakfast, checkout from hotel

Proceed to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. It is situated 90 kms. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock.

Later Proceed to Dawki, A Small Town Near India Bangladesh Border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River.

In the evening, arrive at to Cherrapunji hotel and Check-in.

Day 5:- Cherrapunji Sightseeing.

Today After an Early Breakfast enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Cherrapunji. Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park.

OPTIONAL :

We proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. We have to trek down 3200 steps approximately each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. We can further trek down to the Rainbow Falls which take about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.

Day 6:- Depart Cherrapunji / Arrive Guwahati. (160 KMS /05 HRS.)

Today after breakfast, checkout and depart for Guwahati.

Arrive Guwahati and check in at hotel.

In the evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment) on the mighty River Brahmaputra.

Rest of the evening is free for leisure.

Day 7:- Morning visit Kamakhya Temple. Depart Guwahati / Arrive Home.

Today after Breakfast check out from hotel and visit Kamakhya Temple.

Later transfer to Guwahati Airport for your flight back home with a collection of all those wonderful memories& souvenirs from your Meghalaya Holidays.
