Day 1:- Arrive Dharamshala Airport. Visit Chamunda Devi Temple. Evening free for Leisure.

Welcome to Dharamshala Airport.

Dharamshala is a picturesque hill station and a serene retreat that offers a blend of natural beauty, spirituality, and adventure. It is famous for its beautiful and lush tea gardens where they make its popular Kangra tea.

On arrival, transfer to hotel.

Enroute, visit Chamunda Devi Temple. Known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham, this temple is famous for an ancient and its Himachali architecture.

Arrive at hotel and check in.

Rest of the day is free for leisure.

Day 2:- Dharamshala Sightseeing.

(Breakfast & Dinner)

After breakfast, proceed for Dharamshala Sightseeing.

Dharamshala has some of the most spectacular views of Dhauladhar Snowline and old – age monasteries, dotting the wood land scape.

Visit War Memorial, Museum of Kangra, Dal Lake, Mcloedganj, Cricket Stadium, Mcloedganj and Church of St. John.

What sets the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium apart from others is its idyllic setting amidst the breath-taking himalayan backdrop of snow-capped peaks and lush greenery. Museum of Kangra offers local archaeological collections of statues, jewellery, art & other artefacts. St. John in the Wilderness is a Protestant church built in 1852 and dedicated to John the Baptist. The area around Dal Lake is a natural paradise.

In the evening back to the hotel.

Day 3:- Visit Tsuglagkhang Temple & Bhagsu Nag falls. Evening free for shopping at Kotwali Bazaar.

After breakfast, get ready to explore various colourful Buddhist temples that give Dharamshala its identity.

Visit Dalai Lama Temple, Tsuglagkhang Temple & Bhagsu Nag falls.

The Dalai Lama Temple is a politico-religious centre and ideal for peaceful meditation and religious rumination. The temple is full of lamas at all points of the day chanting on prayer wheels or beads.

The Tsuglagkhang complex, the “central temple,” is the heart of that world. Architecturally, the temple itself is a utilitarian version of the one in Lhasa. There is very fine work in the murals, particularly in the Kalachakra temple.

Bhagsu Nag falls is perfect for picnics and leisurely walks. This waterfall turns beautiful alongside a mountain, which features slate graffiti, during monsoon. Tourists love to swim through the cold water that gives an enjoyable and refreshing experience. Trekking is a good and much enjoyable alternative.

In the evening, enjoy shopping at Kotwali Bazaar. From prayer wheels and flags to hand-woven carpets and shrugs, you can find everything with a touch of Tibetan finesse.

Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 4:- Depart Dharamshala / Arrive Dalhousie (Approx. 130 KMs). Evening free for leisure.

Today after breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed to Dalhousie.

Arrive Dalhousie hotel and Check-in.

Dalhousie is popular hill station situated at 2040 mts in the outer slop of the Dhauladhar range of Himachal Pradesh. It is an enchanting little town, with a colonial hangover. thick forests, wild life, tranquil ambience and refreshing views of the far mountains draped in snow, attract nature lovers and tourists alike.

Evening free for leisure.

Day 5:- Excursion of Khajjiar – The renowned Mini Switzerland.

Today after breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Khajjiar.

Khajjiar is called Mini Switzerland. The best entertainment in Khajjiar is to walk around the lake or to go for long walks in the thick pine forests. In winter, the snow can be up to 910 mm (3 ft) of height.

A scenic spot set amidst a back drop of dense pines, deodars, and lush green meadow. Khajjiar is exquisitely nested down in the foot hills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the western Himalayas providing a panoramic and breath-taking view to the visitors.

Visit Central Park, Rang Mahal, Khajjiar Lake, and Bhuri Singh Museum. If you are an adventure enthusiast, you can also try your hand at zorbing & paragliding.

In the evening, back to Dalhousie.

Day 6:- Dalhousie Sightseeing.  Evening free for leisure.

After breakfast, get set to explore this picturesque town – Dalhousie.

Visit Panchpula – adorned with natural water pools and a monument built in the memory of Sardar Ajit Singh (Freedom fighter), Panchpula can be listed as one of the topmost attractions of Dalhousie.

The spot where Subhash Chandra Bose spent plenty of time contemplating (Subhash Baoli) is to be visited next.

Offer sincere prayers in a popular temple of Dalhousie – Bhulwani Mata Mandir at Bara Pathar.

In the afternoon back to hotel.

Rest of the day is free for leisure.

Day 7:- Depart Dalhousie / Arrive Amritsar. Golden Temple & Jallianwala Bagh. Visit Wagah Border.

Today after breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed to Amritsar.

On arrival at Amritsar, proceed for local sightseeing of Amritsar.

We start our City Tour with the blessings of Golden temple – The Most Important shrine, which is also known as the Mecca for the Sikhs, is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.

Later visit to Jallianwala Bagh and in the evening Visit to Indo – Pak Border to watch retreat ceremony at India – Pak Border. A visit to Border is an interesting experience especially at sunset, when the retreat ceremony takes place with the border security Force on Indian Side and the Sutlej rangers on the Pakistan side putting up a well-coordinated and spectacular display.

In the evening, proceed to hotel.

Arrive at Hotel and Check-in.

Day 8:- Depart Amritsar / Arrive Home.

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Amritsar Airport, for flight back home with wonderful memories & souvenirs from your Himachal Pradesh with Amritsar Holidays.
