Day 1:- Arrive Guwahati / Transfer to Shillong. Enroute Umium Lake. (100 Kms / 3 Hours)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet and greet with our representative and transfer to Shillong, called ‘Scotland of the East”. Shillong is the only hill station in the country that is accessible from all sides. The name Shillong is derived from U-Shyllong, a powerful deity and is situated at an altitude of 1,491m above sea level.
Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills.
On arrival at Shillong, check into the hotel.
Day 2:- Excursion to Cherrapunjee. Elephanta Falls and Shillong Peak. (60 Kms / 2 Hours)

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai.
Evening return to Shillong, enroute visit Elephanta falls, the British name of what the local Khasi people once referred to as Ka Kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew (or “Three Steps Waterfalls”) since the falls actually consisted of three sections in succession.
Later go to Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.
Day 3:- Shillong Sightseeing. Depart Shillong / Arrive Tezpur / Bhalukpong. (320 Kms / 7 Hours)

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed for local sightseeing of Shillong.
Visit Don Bosco Museum.
After that, visit Ward’s Lake which is a refreshing pool surrounded by beautiful gardens in the heart of the city. The serene lake and the cool shades of trees around it, makes it a nice spot for sightseeing and boating.
Later drive to Tezpur / Bhalukpong, situated on the north bank of the mighty Brahmaputra, interspersed with green hills and hillocks, parks and lakes, Tezpur is a beautiful town in the middle of the state of Assam.
On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure.
Day 4:- Depart Tezpur / Bhalukpong. Arrive Dirang. Enroute visit Tipi Orchidarium. (138 Kms / 5 Hours)

After early breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed Dirang,
Enroute visit Tipi Orchidarium.
On arrival in Dirang, Checkin and freshenup.
Later afternoon, we will proceed for local sightseeing of Dirang including visit to Apple & Kiwi Garden (depending upon season), Dirang Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery. Dirang is also famous for hot water springs where people take bath to cure skin ailments.
Day 5:- Depart Dirang / Arrive Tawang. Enroute Sela Lake & Nuranang Falls. (130 Kms / 5 Hours)

After early breakfast, checkout from the hotel, proceed to Tawang. On the way enjoy the beauty Sela Pass, Sela Lake, Jaswantgarh War Memorial, and majesty of Nuranang Falls.
Arrive & check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure.
Day 6:- Tawang Sightseeing.

After breakfast, we will proceed for local sightseeing of Tawang.
Visit the world famous seventeenth century Tawang Monastery, also known as Galden Namgyal Lhatse which overlooks the wide Tawang Valley at a height of 10,000 ft.
Later visit Urgeling Gompa, 6th Dalai Lama’s birth place who is the only Indian to have risen to such a high position in Gelupka Sect of Buddhism so far.
You can also visit the craft center in Tawang sells beautiful masks, hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber, ‘chubas’ the local dressand delightful affordable mementos. Evening at leisure.
Day 7:- Depart Tawang / Arrive Bomdila. Visit Bomdila Monastery. (170 Kms / 6 Hours)

After breakfast, checkout from hotel and transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft.) – the head quarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate.
On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening visit Bomdila Monastery.
Day 8:- Depart Bomdila / Arrive Guwahati. Evening River Cruise. (307 Kms / 7 Hours)

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Guwahati.
Arrive Guwahati Hotel and Checkin.
Evening you may take a River Cruise (Direct Payment) on the mighty River Brahmputra. You may also visit the local market. Assam is famous for Assam Silk particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo and Cane Products.
Day 9:- Guwahati Sightseeing. Depart Guwahati / Transfer to Guwahati Airport.

After breakfast, checkout from hotel and we will proceed for sightseeing of Guwahati.
Start the day with Darshan at Kamakhya Temple and other Temples in Guwahati namely Purva Tirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Sukreswar Temple, Navagraha Temple, Umananda Temple at the Peacock Island which is the smallest inhabited River Island in the World. Also visit, Assam State Museum, Dighali Pukhuri (Lake), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Planetarium and the Assam State Emporiums.
Later transfer to Guwahati Airport for your flight back home with wonderful memories & souvenirs from your North East Holidays.
